ストレス。

ストレスって俺にはあまり溜まらない方だけど、今回のeBayの件に関してはかなりのストレスになったよ。
相手とのメールのやりとりだけで今数えたら37回もメールしてた!


さ、さんじゅうなな回って・・・



メールをやり取りしてる途中から大和魂に火がついたな。
Tsuyoshi君からは「かなりアグレッシブなメールですね」と言われたけど、やっぱ俺はJAPANESEです。


仕事柄アメリカ人と接する機会は多くて、最初の頃はJAPANESEとAMERICANとの考え方等のギャップに戸惑いも確かにあったけど、アメリカで仕事をするにはある程度自分を殺してアメリカと言う文化や国民性を受け入れて、郷に入れば郷に従えの考えで今まできたけど、今回ばかりは許せへんかったな。


この37回にわたるメールを簡単に説明。

まず、17日に荷物を受け取り中身を確認すると、1つ足らない事に気が付き、先にカスタマーセンターへ電話を入れたけど誰も繋がらず、直ぐ後に1つ入って無かったよと相手にメール。
相手は今晩直ぐに送るからUSPSで送るからトラッキングナンバーは無いけど数日中に届くと言う。
その後、色々と出品物と相違が無いか確認した所、写真と説明が違う物が2つ入っていた。
また直ぐにメールを送り説明と違う物が入ってたから、説明していた物も一緒に送ってという。
相手の返信は決まって電話番号を残してメールをくれと言うので電話番号を残して数回メールのやり取りをしたけど電話はまったく掛かってこない。
この辺はアメリカでネットショッピングをすると良く分かるけど、直ぐと言っても高い確率で遅くなったりするので気長に待つ。
で、違う物が入っていたということに対しての返事が無く、電話番号を残してくれとだけメールが帰ってくる。これだけで3回くらい同じ内容でメールが来る。
とりあえず俺は説明の内容の物さえ手に入れば良かったので(やり取りするの面倒だし)何故説明の物と違う物が入っているのかを聞く。
ようやくその件に関してのメールが来る。
まず1つ、違うメーカーの物を送ったのは写真の物では取り付けたときに不具合が出るので同等の物を送った。
まぁこの件に関しては俺も「そっか同等の物だし」とあまり気に留めてなかった。
もう1つは俺的に譲れない部分であったので、説明どおりの物を送ってくれと頼む。
返事は、小さい写真の広告は送った物と同じ倍率(カメラのレンズね)だから問題ないと言う。
でも説明文には3回も0.45倍のレンズとはっきりと書いてあり、小さい写真の説明ではクリックしないと大きくならないので、そんな写真はクリックせずに説明文だけを見て俺は注文した。
説明では3回も0.45倍って書いてあるよ。と言っても相手は意に介さず、電話番号を残せと同じメールがまた届く。
挙句の果てに「どの事を言ってるのか分からないからちゃんと説明してくれ」とメールが来る。
こんなやり取りが3日続く。



この辺から段々と大和魂に火がつき始める。



そろそろ入って無かった品物が届く頃だけど、そんな気配はまったく無いので、もう一度確認する事に。
その旨をキツイ口調で伝えるとUPSで送ってトラッキングナンバーも付けてきた。
この時点で最初にUSPSで送るって事が違う。で、UPSのトラッキングナンバーで確認すると、17日に発送するって言ってたのにも関わらず20日の発送になっててしかも航空便で発送したのではなく、陸送でNYから発送してたから余計に腹が立ち、今まで我慢してた物が一気に噴出してきた。


そこで取った行動。
まずeBayのFeed Backでネガティブにして17日から数日中に受け取れるはずの品物が予定では27日になってたのでその事も踏まえFeed Backに書き込む。
I got wrong two type of lenses and never received one of the item.
それからeBayに対し苦情のメールを送る。

すると早速相手からメールが来る。
なんでネガティブにしたんだ?ちゃんとしたレンズを送るから取り消して欲しいと。
それなら初めから説明どおりの物を送ってくれと思いながらメールを返信。
まず、足らない品物を受け取り、説明どおりのレンズを受け取ってからネガティブを取り消す。と。
この時点でちゃんと受け取れる保証もなく、FeedBackを見てても同じような人が居たので一旦ネガティブを取り消すと元には戻せないので、完全に受け取ったら取り消すと相手に伝えたが「まず取り消しが先でそれからレンズを発送する」の1点張り。


この辺りで俺はなかりアグレッシブなメールを送ってた。
そんな事を1週間も続けてたら、さすがに寝てても夢の中でこの事が出てくる。(うつではないよ)




なんか書いてて簡単に説明できそうに無いから面倒になってきた。

The Tokina lenses were found to have a defect and people were complaining that they were damaging their cameras, so we had to return our supply of these lenses back to the manufacturer, and our suppliers sent us the Merkury lenses as a replacement. They cost us the same amount of money and we were assured by them that these lenses were of equal quality and performance, otherwise we never would have sent it to you. Are you quite sure the lens is not performing well? Is it being used properly? Please try to adjust the settings on your camera, and maybe try zooming in to get a better result, that should work. Let me know if you still have trouble with the lens or if I can help at any time.

このメールの後、eBayへ苦情メールとFeedBackをネガティブにしてやった。
すると相手は焦って取り消すよう俺に求める。

確かこの日に相手から電話が入るが「電話では喋りたくない。」と一言言うと「なんで?」って聞くから「俺は英語がまだまだ不十分だから、メールの方が良い」と伝えると相手は「分かった」と電話を切る。

ようやく足らない品物のトラッキングナンバーをよこしてきた。本当ならどんなに遅くても21日までには手元に届くはずだったけどこのトラッキングナンバーで確認すると陸送でしかも22日に送ってやがった。

基本的にアメリカではある程度自分の意思をはっきりと伝えないと動きが遅いので今までのメールでも多少は強く言っておいた。
ここから本格的にキレ始めてきた。

この時点で俺は今まで目をつぶっていた事を完全に止めて攻撃する。本当はメーカーが違っても同等の物さえ手に入れば良いと思ってたけど、この対応の悪さに完全に引いてはいけないと硬く決心。大和魂に火がついてる。

相手:I can have the 0.5x exchanged for a 0.45x lens, the 0.45x lens we have is 52mm so you will need to use the 58-52mm adapter ring with it and attach to the tube adapter. The 0.5x is practically the same as the 0.45x lens, but if you do not want it we can do the exchange, just remove the negative feedback and we will have the exchange arranged for you immediately after that.

相手:We will exchange the 0.5x for 0.45x, you should have already received the tube adapter and 58-52mm ring adapter in the package with the lenses, if you HONESTLY did not receive them then let us know and we will have them sent with the 0.45x 52mm lens, but I am pretty sure you have the tube adapter we sent you at least, if not also the 58-52mm ring adapter. As for the negative feedback, you will need to remove it before we will send you the lens to exchange, that is fair and we have 55,000 positive feedback to vouch for our honesty, so please do the right thing as we have asked you and remove the negative feedback so we can get you the items you are asking for.

You have ignored some of my emails and never replied to me.
If you want proof of it, please look at all my emails and you will see that a lot of them were sent before I leave the feedback.
You have only started to reply to my emails once I have left you a negative feedback.

You have sent me a tracking number for the adapter.
I hope that this is the CORRECT tracking number and that it will arrive soon.
In one of the first email that you had sent me, you said that I will get it in 2 or 3 days...

You still need to send me a 0.45 lens.
Once I get both the adapter and lens, I will remove the feedback.
The reason why I cannot do it before is because I cannot trust you (looking at all your other feedbacks with lost shipment etc.)
Also, it is my understanding that once I change the feedback, I will not be able to change it again so the next change I make will be the final one.
But this is beside the point. I will not remove the feedback until I receive the correct items and it seems very fair to me. Right now, you are in a fraud status because you have not sent me the correct items and I have paid for it a Very Long time ago.

Please do not email me with a question or a condition or anything else.
MY STATEMENT HERE IS VERY CLEAR: I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE ADAPTER AND THE 0.45 LENS THAT I HAVE WON, AS DECRIBED IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION.

I understand that we are both very frustrated about this situation.
We have both lost a lot of time on this and I would like this to be the final message.

相手:First of all, try to send ONE email with what you want to say, I cannot keep answering each one of your emails it is ridiculous, I have other work to do.

Second, that is a lie about us not replying until you left negative feedback and you know it is a lie. As soon as you emailed us with a problem we asked you for a phone number so we could assist you and help resolve whatever problem you were having, and we tried from there on to help, you only went and left negative feedback abruptly in the middle of us trying to work this situation out. If you want the 0.45x lens or you want us to do ANYTHING for you, you will remove the feedback. if not, we will do NOTHING and you can just keep whatever you already have. We have been more than helpful and tried very hard and spent a lot of time on this order trying to work with you but you are impossible. If you want to keep your 0.5x lens and all the items as they are, then don't remove the feedback. We refuse to do anything else for you until that is done.
